Bikes and Pools!

Keira got a new bike! She is so excited to have a Big Girl bike now!

Brian's mom, Heather, came in last weekend to watch the kids while Brian and I attended the AZ National Guard Conference. Forts were a huge hit!

The resort Brian and I stayed at for the conference had a great pool and slide. The kids had a blast!

Spring is in the air!

It is getting warmer here which is nice but we know 'hot' is just around the corner!

Keira is loving her summer clothes even though she outgrew most of them!! She is getting so big!

Keira loves to lay down with the dogs. She makes sure they have chew toys so they don't chew the blankets. They are so good with her!

Keira lost her first tooth! It was a LONG time coming and took her falling and hitting her mouth in the playroom to come out.

Brian and his unit had a team building day which included paintball. He let the kids shoot the gun before he put it away. They had a lot of fun!

My dad came in for a short visit before heading back out to FL. The kids loved time with Papa!

The kids have been asking to go into the pool even though the water is still pretty chilly. I finally gave in and let them get suited up. Ty cannonballed in and took the cold water pretty well. Keira wasn't so excited about the cold water but did go in!

Happy Easter!

Keira made Tinkerbell Easter Eggs with wings (even though she put the wings on top of the egg instead of on the back...)

The kids get up around 5am so they had to wait until the sun came up to find the eggs!

We headed over to Aunt Sherri's house for a great Easter afternoon filled with egg hunts, good food and time with family!! Keira and Aunt Chris

Keira's Birthday Party

We had Keira's birthday party after spring break so her friends would be in town. This was her first "friend" party so she was so excited!!

It's Official...

It is now Major Dudley!!! Brian was promoted to Major yesterday! It was great to see all the Soldiers come out to support Brian (some from our first deployment in 2005)!

Brian's mom and step-dad were able to make the ceremony and pinned Brian's new rank on.

Keira Turns 5

I am not sure where the time has gone, but Keira turned 5 on the 15th of March! She is growing into such an independent, outgoing, smart girl and we love so much!

For her birthday, Keira asked to go to Toys R Us and Chick Fil A for lunch. The Superstition Springs Mall has this merry-go-round. Very fun!

During lunch Keira asked to get her ears pierced. While I was 13 when I got mine done, Brian said OK for Keira. A LONG story short...after watching 14 year old girl get her second hole pierced Keira decided to do it. While she wasn't too excited after the first ear (and neither was mommy!) she got her second ear done with help from mommy and daddy! Poor baby!
