Cooler Weather

It is starting to cool down a bit here in AZ and we are enjoying it!

Keira playing at the park in our neighborhood. She picked her outfit out all by herself! I think she looks like Punky Brewster but I guess it is just one more way Keira 'lets her sparkle out!'

Brian took Tyler's traning wheels off his bike. Ty is doing pretty good and Daddy is getting a workout too!

Naps

Keira has not taken a nap for awhile. However, last week she took one almost everyday. We would be playing or watching TV and the next thing I know she is asleep on the couch. She must be in another growth spurt!!

Flag Football

We have a great coach and players this season. Ty seems to enjoy playing more too!

Ty is great at center. He has a very fast snap which the coach loves!

Tyler is pulling more flags too!!! This picture is blurry because I was yelling while taking the pic! I missed another good pull but you get the idea!

How does this look?

Keira has to wear socks when she goes to child watch at the gym. Since she wears flip flops every day I often forget to bring socks. So, I decided to put a couple of pairs in the car to ensure we could go to the gym. I guess this week she had a tough time deciding which pair to wear....

Go Cowboys!

Ty's fall flag football season started and let me tell you how happy I am that his team is the Cowboys!!! For all of you who don't know, me and my dad are Dallas Cowboy fans. I use to dream of being a Cowboys cheerleader when I was young and I guess I am now for Ty's team!! Brian isn't too excited about wearing Star clothing but he is helping out with the team and Ty has already improved since spring session!! Ty's coach is awesome and we should have a great team! Go Cowboys!!!

Bearizona

Saturday we drove to Williams and went to Bearizona, a drive-thru wildlife park. The drive-thru section was about 3 miles through the Black Bear, American Burro, Big Horn Sheep, Bison, and Alaskan Tundra Wolf enclosures. The park also has a walk-thru section with baby animals, birds and a petting zoo.

Keira and Quinn

Shannon and Tyler

American Burro greeted us as we entered the drive-thru section.

A Black Bear...a very close Black Bear!

Black Bear cubs in the walk-thru section. So cute! Keira wanted to take a "teddy bear" home!

Keira's favorite part was the petting zoo. She loved all the pigs, goats, chickens, and ponies.

Camping Fishing Trip

Sunday we went fishing at the Navajo Army Depot.

Tyler the fisherman and his amazing casting abilities!

Joey and Brian waiting for a bite!

Angela watched Ty and Keira find parts of dead crayfish and crush them! Fun for hours (really...hours!).

Tyler even picked a live one up!

And thanks to Shannon, we had fish for dinner. Yes, she was the only one to catch a fish! Way to go, Shannon!!!!

Labor Day Camping

We headed up to Flagstaff this weekend for the Dudley Family Reunion camping trip! The weather was perfect and we had a great time. We missed those who couldn't make it this year but are looking forward to next year's gathering!

Camp Photo: Brian, Tyler, Joey, Shannon, Keira, Brooke and Quinn. Angela was taking pics with her camera so she is not in this photo. I will have to update blog when I get the picture with her in it.

Navajo Army Depot grounds where we went fishing (photos to come). Kids thought it was fun to push the missile over!!!

Ty and Keira loved to blow bubbles for their cousin Quinn (didn't get a pic with all three though)

Tyler coloring with Quinn.

Tyler and Keira made this see-saw by themselves! It was a great time until it broke!
